    Greenpeace trashes Australian wheat trial

    http://www.fwi.co.uk/Articles/2011/07/15/127837/Greenpeace-trashes-Australian-GM-wheat-trial.htm

I hope the sanctimonious bastards get sued to bankruptcy. They do not speak for us all, just the left-liberal "intellectual elite" who think they know what's best for us. They have tasted blood with the trashing of Murdoch and are after their next target. I hope that there is a world famine, so that they can starve to death with their principles intact.

It's only science, after all. It saved my father from pneumonia when I was 7, and saved my wife in childbirth. If anything goes wrong with this trial, they are perfectly free to sue those responsible. They are running scared of GM proving to be beneficial, because it would conflict with their smug, self righteous world view.

They can say what they want about Monsanto and GM(speaking generally), but after an early morning tour of my crops, I am completely amazed at the job who ever has bred my corn, soybeans, and grain sorghum have done.  The stress crops will take today and still grow and stay green is beyond belief.

It is so dry here right now that 50 acres of the 75 I planted to soybeans after wheat didn't even germinate, AFTER .4 of an inch of rain.  Still, our crops are green and growing slowly, in temps over 100 every day(20 or so now).  Monsanto does take a big chunk of money every year, but 30 years ago our crops would be withering by now.
