my name is Jordan Taylor, im 16 years old and studying my National Diploma in Agriculture level 3 at walford & north shropshire college

i work for JRO Griffiths & Sons which is a large arable farm covering 3600 acres, they grow wheat, barley, carrots, parsnips, onions, and 1100 acres of potatoes for walkers. they have enough stores to hold around 15,000 tonnes of potatoes for long periods of time,

i am the apprentice farm manager there aswell as getting my hands dirty. previous to working here i worked 2 years on a dairy and arable farm near to much wenlock where i also worked on a pig unit owned by the same farmer. they had around 6500 sows. the diry herd has at 340 being milked just before i left.

i am also a photographer of farm machinery and i hopeto have some of my photos on here before long.
