Is anybody out there growing industrial hemp? As I need to base a project on this crop, the project would be of benefit to the grower.

Jerome I have spoken to Luke as I to am interested in Hemp, he is wanting to do a trial to see whether hemp is viable in a wheat rotation. He is looking for a area on a farm to conduct his study.

We have been growing hemp on the farm (France) since about 10 years. I can tell you it's a viable crop in a wheat rotation, provided hemp can be processed near the farm in order to get an interesting price.

Jerome,just wondered what your hemp processors pay for a tonne of baled hemp in France?We are about 30km away from the nearest processor in the UK.

Which plant is that? Hemcore are useless for getting information from, anyone know any other possible places?

Hemcore in Essex.You could try ADM,i think they have a plant in Yorkshire.Have you tried Hemcores parent company ie Harlow Agricultural Merchants for help?

No a friend was trying to find a farm that grew hemp, they kept putting off helping and then said that they couldn't
