Our farmhouse is supposed to be haunted by a former owner, though we have not heard, seen or smelt anything to date. Guests have reported seeing a fleeting glimpse of someone passing though possibly after a glass or two of Scottish spring water.

Does the FW ESP team include Isabel or Caroline by any chance? Can I look forward to being a quivering mess in the morning after a long nights investigation?

A likely candidate for the Farmers Weekly Most Haunted Farmhouse 2010 Award?

    http://www.darkstar1.co.uk/farmhouse.html

But I think that might just be dust on the lens. So does anybody think they can beat this for Britain's most haunted farmhouse? There's £100 in it for you and a visit from out team of investigators.

And as one commenter has asked, the team sadly does not include Ms Caroline Stocks.

If anyone wants to hear me waffling on about this - I was on BBC Radio Lancashire this morning talking about it. It's about 17 minutes into this 'listen again' facility

I've just been told Pluckley in Kent is the place to go. Some say it's the most haunted village in the country...

Thanks to Clive who got in touch having heard about our search for Britain's Most Haunted Farmhouse on BBC Newcastle. He sent me a photo of this old drovers house located in the centre of harwood forest in Northumberland. He reckons when he took the picture he had a feeling he was being watched and that the place is a definite contender for the title!

I hope this link works. It's not a farm house, but it's by fields!

When my pension payments go into my bank account each month, I see the spectral ghost of Gordon Brown's hand hovering over the figures.
