    jersey royals

i saw jamie oliver promoting jersey royals for sainsburys today, it was a lovely advert and saw this idillic scene of growing spuds on a jersey cliff face, and met the farmer and his family and what fine fellows they were, and how each spud was named and hand reared etc- the thing they finished with though after all that care and attention was that they are now half price! not quite so much profit for our jersey friend then.

Last time I was in Jersy raw human sewage was used as a fertilizer. The paper could be reclaimed from the hedges after it had dried.

Raw human sewage? Thats seriously dodgy. Is it legal? Probably v. environmentally friendly though! Perhaps this is why they are 99p/kilo and 'taste' so good! :-) Mayo PS Is this where that awful recycled toilet paper comes from? Have they looked at what else could be recovered and then 'recycled'? PPS I dont mean false teeth that might have been flushed either?! :-)
