I have a bed problem with a PHB 300.The gear under the gearbox is putting pressure on the gears either side.It may be debris between the teeth as it was lying up for six mths.How can this gear be got at.Does the gearbox shaft run down to the rotor below and if I remove nut on rotor can gearbox be lifted off.Any help/advice gratefully accepted.

If I remember correctly teh output shaft of the gearbox does run down through the gear and the rotor attachs on to this. To ultimately get at the gear you will have to take the top off the bed to give a full & proper inspection
