Hi, we
are looking for somebody to help us out with lambing, starting 1st
April for 3 to 4 weeks, on our farm near Leeds West Yorkshire.
We have
150 ewes to lamb which are a mix of 90% Texel X and 10% Mules put to
Charolais or Texel tups, all lambed indoors.
We have
used students for the last 3 years, with great success.
We are
also happy to take on a complete novice, just as long as they have the enthusiasm
for the job and willingness to learn. We will be happy to spend time teaching
the necessary skills of all aspects of lambing if needed.
This is a
great opportunity for getting that first lambing experience.
Unfortunately
we cannot offer any accommodation. A Full UK driving licence would be an
advantage but not essential.
