Land in Dover for Potato Farming

    Dear Farming Community,

I am 27 Years old, the Grandson of an English Farmer and have grown potatoes successfully on a local allotment.

I am interested in buying or renting some land in or around Dover to grow potatoes for the local fish and chip shop/s part as something to do and part for the good of the community.

Would any of you like to share any tips, facts, stories or secrets you would like to share about these kind of setups?

Should I leap in and get land in Dover?  My idea is to ask a local farmer if he would give me a strip of land.
