Caption competition - this one is now closed

This is TV presenter Julia Bradbury, dressed as a 'dairy fairy for the launch of this year's National Dairy Week. My caption suggestion to set the ball rolling is: These hiking boots sure do churn up the ground.

Dairy Fairy fashion failure. (by child no 4, female, part time fairy, full time terror)

For anyone who can relate to this 1991 Mary Whitehouse Experience reference:

    "Lovely. Milky milky."

I am presuming it *is* milk in the glass Devil

    FASHION WEEKLY

News Flash. from our reporter, Taki T Allin

The latest designs to hit the catwalk combine the functionality of traditional rural footwear with the chic elegance of the city. With this creation, Justin Latte-Tyme the vibrant young coutourier from Milan has used the rugged image of the peasant but cleverly superimposed it with a pleasing overlay in chiffon and silk.

Ones mind is challenged by the juxtaposition of the earth as represented by the boots, with the ethereal sublimity of the angelic wings forming an integral part of the bodice. Such was the positive response to this show, that one delighted reviewer was overheard to say that he would not be surprised to see this designer's work being used as image boosters by major brands such as Monsanto, Maxwell House and Defra.

Angle Kills Groom in Fling Over Cream

    The wedding photos are back.

We had a great day, pity it ended so badly.  The meal started with bucket loads of Baileys Irish Cream for all the guests, as you can see the bride filled her boots. But after the grooms fling with the chief bridesmaid, a body was found in a shallow grave in the garden.

    She denies all responsibility! Confused

She is smiling because she has just found out that, for Dairy Week, Matt Baker is the back end of the pantomime cow, and John Craven is the front. Thus Matt has to stare at John's bum all day rather than hers! Hehe.

And shouldnt she be representing Kerry Gold butter, on account of her being Irish?

I know its only a technicality but you cant have Fairies without Leprechauns, so I don't think she's a Fairy at all. Unless there in the milk churn?

Turns out the rest of the pics can be found at: http://www.smilefordairy.com/ where you can upload your own milky favorites. My wife is currently lactating for the new baby's feeds tomorrow - I asked her if she would "smile for dairy" so I could stick her online. She said no, for some reason.

Oh, there is also a Julia Bradbury video there :)

Of course not - if being someones cousin in the farming sector prevented you from entering a competiton, then no-one in Lincolnshire would ever win (!)

You cant win anyway as your captions were rubbish ;)

For the kind words of encouragement Tesla (I can call you Tesla?), Thank you

As for entering the competition, I just wanted to be open and transparent. No good writing an acceptance speech only for someone  to find out were related Wink
