I have got a Bluebell hen who has just started laying, the eggs are quite small for a fairly big hen, can anyone tell me if this is the normal size or if the eggs start off small when they first start laying and will get larger?

Its perfectly normal for a hen to lay small eggs for the first time. You should see them get larger after a few weeks.
