I have the same situation, Prob going to give it a hit with Topik in the next week or two which should knock it back and then hopefully the atlantis in the spring will finish it off. As far as i know there are no chemicals that are guaranteed to give a clean kill of barley in wheat but if anyone knows any different please post and let us know!

Monitor or Attribut are arguably the “least barley safe” options, but nothing guaranteed to give full control.

A sequence of Topik followed by one of these probably the best chance.

     Hope handy!

That sounds good topic and monitor in theory, but its something that is probably close to £20 an acre together, Atlantis is not far away from that i reckon and its not backed up by a label.  the chances are it would work quite well.

is the spring barley dead yet ?  Yes

For future reference, the amount of nitrogen that is spread on winter wheat flattens the barley. Was in the same boat myself and used monitor and pacifica and left a tramline part unsprayed to check the effect. the cost per acre was a waste as by the time the harvest came around all the barley was flat on the ground.

What is your following crop going to be?

Be careful if using Monitor or Attribut as oilseed rape is a no-no if min tilled. Residues will knacker the crop.
