Is there water in your oil too?

I presume you mean engine oil too btw.

Could be a few things but first to mind would be head gasket. Dont know your machine but thats where I would start.

Take the dough and stay real jiggy.
    Uh-huh.

sounds like you have the good old ford porous block.

take out sump plug and see if water comes out first.

head gasket is possible, have you overheated it?

Hi, hopefully its the oil cooler. As the engine is turbocharged the oil gets very hot and therefore has to be cooled. Disconnect it if possible and run her for a while. It will be hard to  get the oil from the rad. so be careful, you may have to flush it out several times even though you have the cause it still may look oily on the surface of the coolant. Just check the dip stick for whiteness this tells if you have water in the oil. It may be worth just loosening the sump bung again to check for water. It will come out before the oil if there is any in the sump. Some of the newer synthetic oils wont go white.

Don't go rushing in make sure you have all the simple stuff done first. Don't forget to let us know how you get on.

Could also be a cracked oil way in the block but look at oil cooler and headgasket first. Timik Agricultural will bore out the main oil way and sleive it for you. They have adverts in back of farmers weekly talk to Henry.

You may be lucky and it is the head gasket, sometimes the oil pipe through the bottom of the rad can leak.

Usually it is the good old porous block, l have run Fords for over 25 yrs, had 3 go porous. lining is ok, but does not last, we used to bore and reline the blocks then send the tractor down the road. On low hours one's we have bought new short motors, and once a complete new engine

porous blocks were the end of ford tractor company, along with the "rubic" gearbox.

good old british engineering went to the dogs.(and then the italians)

The 'rubic' gearbox certainly kept you fit, but not sane. Only ever drove one once, for a day, l still wake up in the night having flash backs!!!!
