Planning Permisson for Pig Arks - Help Please!

Please can anyone tell me if you need planning permission for pig arks within 400 meters of residential properties.

We have neighbours who will object, so need to get this right.

They are standard portable pig arks 6 by 4 feet. In a 4 acre agricultural apple orchard.

    Thank you.

They are temporary structures, no planning required AFAIK

But does this apply if they are closer than 400 meters from a residential property or a road? THis seems to be an anomaly that is popping up on a few forums.

If you are an NFU member ask them, they have some pretty good planning experts, I have always found them to be most useful.

If in doubt about them being a "temporary structure" put two wheels and a tow bar on each.

You can put them as close to the houses as you like
