Well made from what I am aware. I think that 1996 ish models onwards had an improved gearbox to the beeters which may be worth looking out for on older models. I know of a 1997/8 machine for sale locally, but I cant remember the price exactly, think it was around £9,000. I think a 1995 machine fetches around £4-5,000.

Thanks for that Kenny, can't find the makers serial plate anywhere but the CE sticker is marked CE97,could this be the year?It looks in good order, asking price £4500.PTO shaft goes direct into gearbox with shaft out the back with sprocket and chain dropping down to drive the beaters ,shaft also goes direct onto auger in bottom of spreader so a very simple design if it does the job.

97 could be the year. From what I canm remember, if it is a single gearbox drive to the beaters its the newer design, whereas the older ones had 2 or 3 spearate drives I think. If the machine is tidy and its a 97 then £4,500 is not a bad price I think.
