Our 1993 Matbro TR 250 telehandler has a burst hydraulic hose. The machine is offsite and I haven't had a chance to see it yet, but I am told that the problem hose sems to run inside the boom and the driver couldn't readily see how to access and remove the end inside the boom.

I have no experience of repairing telehandlers (this is our first and only one) and it would be really useful if I had some idea of what I am looking at when I go to see the machine. Does anyone know how to access the hose ends inside the boom? Is there an access plate or do you have to remove the boom etc.?

Thanks.

As for fendt, the 714 i drove over the summer was a very overrated piece of kit. its all fine and well producing such a large amount of power from engines of such small displacement, but look what happens to valmets! And as for the vario tranismission and little computer that you have in the cab, i doubt that any fendt drivers on here will argue that they boost productivity any more than a tractor without one. Besides, the TS was hardly a real success for new holland, or else they would still be on the market. How many contractors operate new hollands? Erm.... thats because the older ones such as the 8560 and 8360 of a certain contractor i know blew up and needed a major engine overhaul every 1000 hours. Running costs are nothing like a JD's. As as for price; you get what you pay for.

Sorry to spoil your fun

I can't help it. I just do. The amount of times you think 'If only we had a digger'. A farmer down the road has one and it's massively useful. But Dad keeps saying it's better to hire one for a weekend for the jobs you want to do. Problem with that is......you don't bother.

They keep their money so well you wouldn't expect to lose a penny on something in the 5k bracket in terms of depreciation if you looked after it. I'm looking at a 2.5t for a variety of things. Digging obviously but also post rammer and log grab.

Anyone run one? Would you be without it? Is it a pain the arris? Better to hire one when you need it? Are you constantly being asked to pop around and clear out a ditch etc?

Dad swears by our bobcat skid steer and while it is very useful and being a big one can lift huge fallen oaks, has pallet forks, bucket, grab etc. it's pretty limited as our land is generally sloping and wet.

Sanderson 625 turbo , no brakes !!!!

Hi all, new to this forum and also new to my Sanderson 625, just bought it and love it to bits, first day in the yard today and it has no foot brake working !! Guessing they may just need bleeding as they work a tiny bit at the very last bit, after having a quick look round i see they are hydraulic but cant seem to find any bleed nipples to bleed, if anyone could help me with some more info that would be great, cheers,
