    The RPAs Single Payment Calculator

Has anyone noticed the latest RPA mistake.  They have done a press release today highlighting their single payment calculator.   I have just used it for one of my Clients calculations and you cannot input any other arable  crop on the reference amount calculator than durum wheat.  The other mistake is that it does not inform you that you need to deduct another 5% being EU Modulation and National Modulation in order to calculate how they have calculated the cheque figure.

Surelt the RPA who are calculating this complicated formulae should be able to put online a calculator that calculates the correct answer.  In addition surely before releasing todays press release they should have checked that it works.

The 3 yellow boxes to the right of the Durum Wheat row are for any durum wheat figures you may have and only for durum wheat.

The yellow box to the far right of the Total row is for your average arable figures (including any durum wheat).  These figures should be clear on your Information Statement.  If you have no durum wheat then you only need to complete the average yellow box and this will give you a figure on page 11.

The calculator has to differentiate between the total arable (of which durum wheat is a part) and the durum wheat which gains an additional supplement as part of the reference amount calculation.

Please can you publish a link to the calculator - I can only find a "guide" but assume frome the comments that there is an actual inter-active version.
