    Tulips from Amsterdam?

We've used this rather nice picture in this week's issue of Farmers Weekly. When we first saw it we thought it was taken in Holland, but it turns out it's actually taken in the UK.

So, before you get your hands on this week's issue, I thought I'd challenge you to guess which county this photo's been taken in. A snazzy Farmers Weekly mug goes to the first person who gets it right...

No. Don't say I'm going to have to let Isabel keep her FW mug! It took me ages to prise it from her hands Smile

I guess Norfolk too, the pine tree shelter belts look typical of Swaffham and Thetford area.

Too late, mate!  However, if the answer is Norfolk, I would be happy for you to receive the snazzy Farmers Weekly mug.

Hooray! Well done Robert - it's Norfolk. I think Markw deserves the mug anyway for getting the location exactly right Smile

If you IM me your address I can get Isabel to send your snazzy mug over.

Thank you Mr Fisher for your generous act, however I agree with Caroline, I am more deserving than you. Indeed you should have been disqualified for having way too many guesses, it was not a multiple choice question !

    Re: Tulips from Amsterdam?

Definately Norfolk Cockley Cley to be exact- we have been growing Tulips in this area since 2000/2001- and the Dutch said we could n't do it! Unfortuntely the field does n't look quite so spectacular now- all the heads taken off for the bulbs and now pinned onto the floats for the Spalding Tulip parade.
