TV series looking for young farmers

TV COMPANY LOOKING FOR YOUNG FARMERS TO PARTICIPATE IN MAJOR NEW DOCUMENTARY SERIES  Top independent television production company Ricochet has a strong pedigree in award winning programmes exploring where our food comes from – they created and co-produced River Cottage and recently made the BAFTA nominated BBC series Blood, Sweat and Takeaways which highlighted the globalisation of food industries.  Ricochet is now developing a new observational documentary series for a major terrestrial broadcaster. This documentary series will film with young farmers and their local communities, in order to tell the real story of farming in Britain today.   Ricochet would like to get beyond the headlines and show what life is really like right now for young people who depend upon farming and its connected industries.   By filming throughout the seasons, we will be able to show why farming is so important right now, and give a true portrait of life in our countryside and rural communities, from the view of young people who have been born into farming. If you're a young farmer who likes to work hard and play hard, and you're interested in participating in this exciting new documentary series, please contact James Christie-Miller on 01273 224 800 or email: james.christiemiller@ricochet.co.uk www.ricochet.co.uk
