    various stolen-crawley

i was wandering if anyone elsea has had a problem with farm thives around the west sussex area.about eight months ago we had all our horse/poultry food taken plus an incubator, tools and a compresser taken.Twice since it seems the same people have come back for scrap metal plus other attemps.

Its ridiculas how everything has to be locked up and bolted down but still dosent make much difference if they want to get in they will.I understand the police cant do that much as usually theirs a lack of evidence in rural locations,no witnesses etc yet its still hard frustrating to know these people can just get away with it and they know they can.

if youv got a narow drivway into the yard you could try blocking it with a traler at night or somthing big that cant be moved without a tractor if you are not planing on having people over.

We had sopme scrap nicked, got the people for it though. It was amazing how they did it actually - came in the yard during the day as the lads were working. Mad! 5 minutes later and they could have been blocked in with the tractor if only they seen them come in!
