Their seems to be problem in the far east, with something called Avian flu, that is affecting the chikens, is it as bad as they say, i think it has killed 22 people, is it just paranoia. I cant see it affecting me, i love to eat chiken.

Avian flu is when yer bird gets a cold and stops going out to buy you food and then nags you to death about her cold.

My bird gets Avian Flu every month then.

joking apart boys, if avian flu becomes transferable to humans many millions could well be killed. it happened after the 1st world war, and in a much more sparsly populated world with many fewer people travelling 22 million died.

if we lost a million or to from eating cheap imported chicken the ones that were left might apprecieat home grown food a bit more, especially if catering trade were forced to label with country of origin!
