Lutterworth Young Farmers Club held their 24 hour ploughathon during the weekend of the 22 and the 23 of September.

From 12 noon on the Saturday, through until 12 noon on the Sunday, a number of the club's members worked constantly; muck spreading, and ploughing the 60 acres of the Whetstone Gorse Fruit Farm.

Lunchtime Saturday saw the arrival of a number of vintage tractors, who all gave a donation to the club's chosen charity to be part of the ploughathon.

When all proceeds have been counted, the club hopes to have raised over £700 for the North Warwickshire Air Ambulance, their chosen charity for the 2007/08 year. Thanks go to everyone who helped to organise the event, and those who sponsored the Lutterworth Young Farmers.
