How to add a photo to the gallery:

1. Make sure you're registered with/logged into FWispace

2. Navigate to the Face2011 gallery

3. Click 'Add picture' (you can find this in the 'My Tasks' box in the lower right-hand side of the screen)

4. Click 'Upload' to browse and upload a photo from your computer

5. Give the image a title and description

6. Click 'Save' to add the photo to the gallery

I would like to nominate Kate Edwards from Swillington Organic Farm as the face of British farming.

Kate has trained with the farm as a Soil Association apprentice and has now joined the farm full time with her own flock of sheep and is starting her own meat box delivery business. I believe she is the face of British farming today and for the future as her passion for environmentally sustainable agriculture and producing honest food is indicative of the young farmers who will be key to British farming and British food. Her face and personality convey the youth, optimism and commitment that our industry needs to portray. Kate has handled all expects of modern farm life, from production to butchery and retail, and taken them in her stride, another reason why she represents the best of both food and farming today.
