No EXIF data is available

Ian is not from a farming family and from the age of 4 he wanted a farm. He did everything he could to work on farms, from showing goats, milking, pig farming, buying/selling horses which led to a job as Whipper In with the Llangybi Hunt.

From there at the age of 18 he gained a job managing a broiler farm and bought his first flock of sheep. He ventured north ending up in Lincolnshire managing broiler farms for a big poultry producer. His career took him to Derbyshire where he became a Broiler Farms Manager supervising 40 broiler farms.

He gained his lucky break in 2006 where he was able to buy a broiler farm and he is a farmer with a 25 year knowledge/career in chickens, a flock of commercial Texel sheep, goats and the odd pig!

Ian has just been awarded the farmer for presenting the Elmwood chicken range for the Co-operative supermarket.

Ian, our dog Ben and our farm appear in the Co-op advert currently showing on the TV. They have just finished filming another advert for Elmwood chickens.

I'm so very proud of Ian and Ben :o)
