Maize harvesting gets under way on 2 Oct at Hill Farm, Iron Down Hill, Barford St Michael, Oxfordshire with contractor R.C. Baker Ltd. It was the first cut into the maize on this farm and was just a top up before main harvest as the 2006 maize clamp is empty and something was needed to supplement the brewers grain being fed.
