Today under threatening clouds and with spots of rain falling, we finished combining our last field of Deben winter wheat. This means we only have some straw to finish baling. A few weeks ago we thought the 2007 harvest would drag on impossibly due to the biblical rainfall. Helpfully our new Claas Lexion 510 combine scythed through the crops.
