Had a firebug start fires on a red flag day March 11. Started 4 fires along a road in an area totally grass for miles and miles. I am working the west side of the third fire in this pic. Head fire is a 2 miles ahead of me. Took 20-25 trucks 3 hours to get these under control.
There is a guy on the back of the truck mopping up what the front nozzle doesn't get. With high wind and low humidity, we ended up going back quite a bit to pick up spots that re fired.
