The Turbo Filler pump from Major was given its first public showing at LAMMA. This new pump chops straw and silage within the slurry, thus preventing blockages. The Turbo Filler can be mounted to a tanker or used as a permanent station for filling silos or umbilical pumping. Filling times for the 3500 gallon tanker have been reduced from eight to three minutes. Prices for the pump are around £4000 for the bolt on tanker option and £6000 for the permanent station.
