During April of this year, I observed Mr Wallis and Son, Lenmarth Farm, sowing this year’s Barley, not that they knew at that time what the seasonal weather would bring. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

This afternoon they were busy working and clearing a few acres, ready for the local Young Farmers to hold the first of the Ploughing matches in the area. More photos to follow.

Regrettably Mr Wallis in a Lexion 480 with 22’ header was packing up for tea, or maybe it was the fact that they had run out of trailers to hold the grain, whilst they clear this year’s Wheat. The weather has played its cruel hand the farmers this year.
