Purple Swamp hen, locally called Kaim at Tanguar Haor also called Tanguar Haor. It is a unique wetland ecosystem. Every winter the haor is home to about 200 types of migratory birds. Sunamganj, Bangladesh.

A wary nuthatch clings to the side of the bird feeder

This photo was taken through a gap in the kitchen window. It took quite a while to grab this shot since the bird was very aware of his surroundings.
