  • Hen Deaths

    We have seen a relatively high number of our free range hens dropping dead over the past couple of weeks. There is no sign of disease and they are from unrelated breeds and different roosts. The only common factor is it seems to happen after windy weather. Are they getting chilled perhaps?

  • Are the banks lending to poultry producers?

    I've heard from some poultry farmers, specifically free-range egg producers, that they are having trouble getting overdrafts or loans from the big banks. Can anybody on the Platform put paid to this?
