    Help anyone…

I was hoping someone might be able to help me.

I am starting a new job in the Chatteris area at the end of April time and am looking for a room to rent in a farmhouse or a caravan or similar.

Can anyone help me or know of anyone worth trying?

    Any leads would be great

    Thanks

    Matt

Sorry Matt, but I don’t even know where Chatteris is. I’d knock on someone’s door and ask if I was you. Us farming types are pretty helpful and someone’s bound to point you in the right direction.

I don’t even know where Chatteris is.

Chatteris (play /ttrs/) is a civil parish and one of four market towns in the Fenland district of Cambridgeshire, England, situated in The Fens between Huntingdon, March and Ely. The town is in the North East Cambridgeshire parliamentary constituency.

Mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, the town has evidence of continuous settlement from the Neolithic period and is locally reputed to have been the last refuge of Boudica as she fled from the Romans.[1] The parish of Chatteris is large, covering 6,099 hectares, and for much of its history was a raised island in the low-lying wetland of the Fens. Following the draining of the Fens, beginning in the 17th century and completed in the 19th century, the town has become a centre of agriculture and related industry.

Never heard of it myself either found this on wikipedia. Sounds quite nice and probably worth a visit.  Sorry this is of no use to you Matt!!

Not much happening on the forums these days need to start up a few interesting threads!! Hope all’s well with you wnw.

Yes good thanks, well over half way through lambing. The night lamber is leaving on Thursday so I’ll have to do the graveyard shift then for a while.
