Please give notice of when and I will be tempted to watch!!!!!!
Me too, it will be nice to have the voice of commonsense on that silly left wing programme. Do we know when he is on??
I was very sorry to see Mr Clarkson has recently lost his fight to have a footpath diverted a few yards away from his property. At the present time it is so close to his house that the Ramblers can see into his kitchen!! This country has gone mad!!
much as hes an idiot i can see his point about shooting badgers. rural affairs should have some qualification for entry such as being born and brought up in the country, farmers son ect
I am not sure that the notion of ‘qualification’ for all but a very restricted range of activities is path we want to go down. What for example, are the ‘qualifications’ for being permitted to profer one’s views on a website such as this?
I don’t know why you imagine that Clarkson is an idiot. He’s a motoring journalist, newspaper pundit and a TV presenter. He seems to do quite well out of it. I don’t know him personally but I imagine that if he was really the persona he sometimes projects, in the Top Gear challenges for instance, you would never have heard of him.

Ah now that’s a good one!
I could be here for hours – but as an aside, did anyone notice the news ‘story’ on FWi to the effect that Stephen Fry backs the GM wheat trial? Now I doubt anyone would imagine that Mr Fry has any relevant agricultural or science qualifications to make his view worthy of reporting in the farming press but, strangely it has been. One wonders whether the Radio Times would be interested in, say, the NFU’s views on QI.
