Deadline for FW awards extended to 6 May

The deadline for entries to the 2011 Farmers Weekly Awards has been extended to 6 May because of the extended Bank Holidays.

The deadline has been moved by a week to give farmers more time to compete their entries and return them once the postal service gets back to normal.

There are plenty of reasons to take time out and get your entry in for one of the 15 categories.

Not only could it lead to industry recognition for you, your family and your team, but previous winners have said it has also given them the ability to negotiate better contracts.

Entering is really easy and you can do it online. If you know of another farmer you think should enter you can also nominate them.

Everyone who nominates someone else for the awards will have their name entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to the swards, plus overnight accommodation.
