Farmers plan premiere release of Full Monty ‘official’ dvd

It’ll be like Hollywood – in Cumbria.

This Saturday sees the premiere of the ‘official’ dvd from the famous farmers Full Monty performance.

A stretch limo (OK, a twin-cab pick-up) will take the six lads who re-enacted a scene from the hit film for charity to The Crossings Inn near Roadhead for the ‘gala’ evening.

They raised £4000 through their brave (some might say foolhardy!) endeavours in the village hall, with the cash benefiting Brampton Cottage Hospital.

This is in addition to the £4500 they – and others – raised in a sponsored bike ride earlier this year, which was in aid of the Children’s Cancer Trust.

“We hope to raise a lot more yet, too, from the dvd sales,” says farmer Steve Pattinson, one of the participants.

You can order your £10 dvd by emailing steviepatt@aol.com

Meanwhile, you can also watch FW’s exclusive footage of the lads rehearsing and performing the Full Monty.
