Last night saw the coldest night for parts of the UK so far this year. Temperatures went down to -7.6C in Benson in England and -8.8C in Katesbridge in Northern Ireland.
Happily, though, there don’t seem to be any blizzards or storms and the Met Office is predicting nothing worse than ice and some cold showery weather over the next few days.
