- 1 can of chick peas (410g)
- Sliver of garlic
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- Ground black pepper
- 50ml (2 fl oz) olive oil
- 2 teaspoon tahini (sesame seed paste), optional
Drain the chick peas discarding the liquid and crush the garlic.
Blend them in a food processor, when smooth add the lemon juice, tahini if using, black pepper and olive oil.
Taste for seasoning adding a little salt and/or more lemon juice.
