The fourth national open day for the farming industry – called Open Farm Sunday – took place yesterday (Sunday, 7 June).

About 425 farms opened their gates to the public and despite some catchy weather visitors turned up in their thousands to experience life on the farm.

Organisers LEAF are already getting back some terrific feedback – you can read more on the OFS website.

Farmers Weekly has set up an online gallery to enable you to share your pictures. Anybody is able to upload their images so long as they are registered on FWiSpace (it only takes a couple of minutes – look for the join link). Here is a selection:

The weather was a bit hit and miss but the crowds still turned up to enjoy all that was on offer at Shabden Park Farm, Chipstead, Surrey, which is run by Mark and Kirstie Banham.
