Photos: Farmer’s West Country spring shots

The great British countryside is beautiful throughout the year – but spring has a particular scenic charm.

We asked the reigning winner of the Farmers Weekly Photography Competition, Rose Tabberer, to capture a sense of the season in her part of the world – Cornwall.

So Rose, from the Rame Peninsula, set about gathering shots of what makes rural areas so special at this time of year – the landscapes, the animals and the people.

“From the stunning beaches of Cornwall, to the moors of Devon and Yorkshire, the often-overlooked rolling hills of Middle England and the Highlands of Scotland, there is beauty to be found around every corner,” says Rose.
