Do you like seeing what other people are doing on their farms? Why not take a look at the FWiSpace pictures galleries where farmers – and the FW team – upload pictures so everyone can see what they are doing.
Here are some recent highlights:
Sidney Camps drilling Advantage-treated Bobcat sugar beet in perfect conditions on his sandy loam at Grange Farm, Abington, Cambs. After his earliest ever start, on 4 Mar, all 47ha (115 acres) were safely sown just two days later.
This field of Mules was snapped by Matty S from Northumberland who said they were the ewes he would be lambing. “We expect to start the first week of April.”
FWiSpace forum regulars Kansasfarmer and Mark W combining last summer. “Not many people here in the US can say they have driven a combine in another nation – even if it was only for one round,” he said.
Tractor driver James Fletcher who works for Chester-based contractor Mike Harley, had a lucky escape when the field he was ploughing gave way underneath him. See the full gallery of 12 pictures for more detail.
