Thousands of hectares of farmland are underwater in Somerset, where the past weeks of rain have taken their toll.


Farmers in the area blame inaction and neglect by the government and authorities rather than simply the rain.


Farmers Weekly’s Johann Tasker visits the site and speaks to farmer John Hebditch, who has had to bear the financial costs of three floods in the past two years.
