For generations, farmers have hated them – referring to them as “tree rats” or “rats with PR”. But now the grey squirrel could be seen in a new light – as dinner.

Prompted by a debate on eating the creatures on the FWi forums, intrepid deputy news editor Caroline Stocks decided to try cooking and eating squirrel pasties. Here’s a short video of how she got on.
