Farmer Weekly 75th Anniversary Milestones

Farming's Greatest

Farmers Weekly is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, so we want to celebrate other great farming milestones of the past 75 years. One way we’re doing this is through a landmark series which, with your help, will discover what have been the greatest farming moments, incidents, eras and inventions over that period.

The aim is to establish what is The Greatest Farming Innovation, The Greatest Farming Figure, The Greatest Farming Machine, The Greatest Farming Decade, The Greatest Farming View and The Greatest Farming Cock-up.

We’ll be drawing up a shortlist from all the suggestions and then giving you the chance to vote to establish an overall winner in each of the six categories. We’ll be coming up with a few suggestion in each category for possible contenders – but we want to hear your suggestions, so get involved and have your say

Everyone who contributes a suggestion will be entered into a draw – the first one drawn in each category will win a year’s free subscription to Farmers Weekly.
