AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY SALES EXECUTIVE - CHESHIRE

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of agricultural machinery used by livestock farmers, mainly dairy farmers and poultry producers. Quality, excellent service, design, innovation and ongoing development are at the heart of this successful family company and rapid future growth is anticipated.
Due to increased business and large volumes of enquiries, an office-based Sales Executive is now required.
Working from an office base in Cheshire, the main focus of the role will be to follow up leads and maintain ongoing contact with direct farmer customers, and machinery dealers. Attendance at shows and exhibitions will be another vital part of this role. Some demonstration work will be required and full training will be given.
Previous experience in selling to livestock farmers would be helpful as would practical livestock farming experience (dairy, livestock, poultry). Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to build up relationships with customers and colleagues. Must be enthusiastic, credible, and self motivated, with an excellent work ethic. Computer literacy skills would be helpful. Willing to take onboard product knowledge, specifications and benefits quickly, and convey this information easily to farmers and customers.
Probably you are in the early years of your career, but have a professional attitude.
