Face of British Food Fortnight 2011 - The Shortlist
Meet the shortlist of seven who are in the running to become the Face of British Food Fortnight 2011.
Run by Farmers Weekly and British Food Fortnight, this competition is looking for someone to become the “face” of this national celebration that runs from 17 September to 2 October.
The faces of the people nominated embody qualities the public associates with our wonderful countryside such as wholesomeness, trustworthiness, tradition and integrity.
The winner will receive £200, plus see their photo appear in Farmers Weekly and on the Love British Food website.
We’ve now passed the shortlist to our celebrity judge, romp writer and friend-of-the-countryside Jilly Cooper who’ll be helping us pick the winner. You can read the full citations for each of the shortlisted candidates in the March 11 issue of Farmers Weekly.
