FURTHER to the article on Dalgety Arables DDF Precision Agronomy Service (Arable, Mar 29), farmers weekly now understands that since September 2001 DDF has utilised its own Gemini scanning system and not MagnaScan as stated. The soil mapping work on Henry Thompson Farms described in the latter part of the article began prior to that date utilising Magnascan, but has continued this season under the Dalgety Gemini regime.
