Perth Bull Sales 2012: Beef Shorthorn championships
The classes are finished and judge Charlie Russell has started awarding his champions. First up is senior champion, and taking the title is Mr D J Biggar’s Chapelton Duke (lot 404). This one (pictured below) is by Chapelton Typhoon and out of Chapelton Duchess. He has a TSI of +36 and a SRI of +28.
The reserve senior champion title was awarded to Mr G Massie & Sons’ Blelack Motivator (lot 420). This one is by Blelack Secret Service and out of Blelack Molly; it boasts a SRI of +11 and a TSI of +14.
Meanwhile in the intermediate classes, the title of champion has been awarded to another one from Mr G Massie & Sons. Blelack Major (lot 422) is by Blelack Secret Service and out of Blelack Mavis; it has a TSI of +13 and a SRI of +11.
The reserve intermediate championship was presented to Mr C Lowther’s Lowther Dynamite (lot 437). This one is by Blelack Minstrel and out of Lowther Melody, and has a TSI of +13 and a SRI of +9.
Up next is the junior championship which Mr Russell awards to William & Jill McAllister’s Burnside Dice (lot 476). This one (pictured below) is by Creaga Dice and out of Trunley Secret Wonderful; it has a TSI of +13 and a SRI of +10.
Meanwhile, taking the reserve junior champion title is Major J.P.O. Gibb’s Glenisla Dam Buster (lot 465). This one is by Glenisla Badendun and out of Glenisla Eva Broadhooks. He has a TSI of +25 and a SRI of +22.
