Top price at Saturday’s sale of Roussin at Carlisle was a 1000gns bid for a shearling ram from Q Limond’s Auchenroy flock. This was a son of CJM V13 out of a dam by SJF T2315. He sold to Martin McCornick, Kirkowan, Newton Stewart.

Second best in the rams was a 450gns sale for a ram lamb from J A S Woodburn, Lockerbie. This is a son of MPM V3964 out of a dam by GAW T141 and was bought by W Y Limond, Dalmellington.

Best of the day in the females was a 300gns call for a ewe lamb from Martin McCornick, with this being a triplet born daughter of MPM X947. She is out of a dam by MPM V3972. Buying her were J A S and S M Woodburn, Lockerbie.

And at 280gns was a ewe lamb from John Fleming’s Stairhaven flock. This was a daughter of MRM T466 out of a dam by GAW N19. She was knocked down to Martin McCornick.
