14,000gns bid for Requin son at Carlisle

The senior trade, as is often the case here, is a little lacklustre, but bulls are getting away which is the main thing.

Next to take a decent price was first prize winner Fodderletter Emperor from the Robertson family. This Tunnelby Varmint son is out of Fodderletter Sarah, a Muirhouse McCoist daughter. He went at 5000gns.

Selling at 4000gns was Crossdykes Egor, a Culnagechan Bullseye son out of Crossdykes Pamela, a Sarkley Moonlight daughter. He had a beef value of +34.

Taking the best bid of the day so far was Bailea Eldistinctivo from Brian Jones. This Requin son is out of Bailea Shesflash, an Ocelot daughter and was always set to cause a stir being a Requin. He went at 14,000gns to Smiths of Bloxham, fierce buyers of Requin progeny.
