Dairy farmers wanting to see the latest technical innovations should find an open day organised by two Sussex vet practices worth a visit.

Visitors to the day hosted by D Goodwin and Sons, Ardingly, will be able to see the Automated Dipping and Flushing system and a new computer system aimed at aiding heat detection.

Rob Drysdale of Westpoint Vet Services, who is organising the event in conjunction with the Cliffe Vet Group, says the event will highlight how these new technologies can improve herd performance.

The open day is on 27 April (01306 628 086).
