Animal health show ready to hit the road

An Animal Health Roadshow covering issues such as cattle abortion, tick control and lamb survival will hit the road in November, aiming to cover the whole of the UK.

The roadshow, organised by the Moredun Foundation, will see vets and scientists highligh various health issues, providing information to maximise health, productivity and profitability of livestock.

Independent sheep adviser Chris Lewis urges farmers and vets to attend, and says the events are essential to help sheep and cattle farmers acquire knowledge on a range of diseases and to develop health plans.

The first roadshow is on 3 November in Selkirk. All events begin at 7.30pm.
